Every student here makes at least one electric guitar from raw materials
and keeps it as there own. We make an acoustic guitar as a group from raw lumber and one lucky student will leave with the
guitar. When the acoustic is completed we put everybody's name in a hat a draw the winner. Most students will have time to
start a second electric guitar while you are here. Keep in mind that everybody learns and works at a different pace.
This is a serious program and career choice. We have test's weekly, and there is a Final Exam at the end of the course.
You will need to devote yourself entirely to your education during your training period with us. Keep in mind that we are
human, and although we try to keep thing's in a chronological order, sometimes the schedule and order of things (especially
repairs) are moved around a bit. We will be learning most every type of major repair that you will encounter in the real world.
Our class sizes range from 6 - 8 generally and range in age from 18 - 65 and up. It is never too late to learn.
We supply all the necessary tool's that you will need to use during your training with us. The tool's that you make are yours
to keep.

What to expect !
Week's 1 & 2 During
your first week here we take this time to bring everyone to the same level quickly. We start out doing basic setups on electric,
acoustic, bass guitars and guitars with floating tremelos. You will make some necessary tool's needed for fretwork such as
a fret leveling file, fret beveling file. Then
we move right into fret work, pulling frets, planning fingerboards, re-fretting, beveling and dressing frets.
Week's

We will start building our acoustic guiar project. Bending the sides, making braces, re-sawing top and back pieces and more.
You will begin some advanced electronic classses which may include amp set-ups, biasing tube amps, more extremely complicated advanced guitar wiring possibilities etc...

our Acoustic Guitar project! Acoustic Guitar Repairs come into play. Broken neck’s, cracked top’s and much
more.

will begin to discuss Guitar design, template making, tools, jigs and a host of other thing’s including finish work.
Applying Polyurethane, Lacquer’s, Oil finishes and spraying techniques. More fretwork, Nut’s, Saddles. You will
start building your electric guitar. Selecting wood, hardware, truss rod etc…

now we move into warp speed and start to use everything that you have learned so far. Cutting out body shapes, making
your neck, routing truss rod cavities, routing all pickup – cavities, slotting your fret board, finishing the acoustic
guitar project, covering alternative repair methods such as pressing frets and more. You will begin to start a second guitar
at this time and as time permits.
